GRANT ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBER
United Way of Eagle River Valley seeks community members passionate about nonprofits and the needs of their neighbors to participate in an advisory committee. This committee will provide input to the Board of Directors on 2024 grant applications.
This is a volunteer role. The hourly commitment is 5 hours per month in October.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Attend 1 hour of training virtually
2. Read applications for grant funds
3. Complete a simple matrix on each application
4. Share insight and recommendations with the Board of Directors
REQUIREMENTS
● Advisory committee members must sign conflict-of-interest and confidentality forms
● Advisory committee members cannot currently be on the board or staff of a local nonprofit
● Advisory committee members should be objectve and fair
● Advisory committee members must be passionate about our nonprofit community and the needs that they address
