United Way of Eagle River Valley (UWERV) is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you’ll have the opportunity to guide the organization’s work in health, education, and financial stability while ensuring that local voices are heard and valued in leadership.
This is more than a governance role; it’s a chance to connect with fellow changemakers and help move real resources to where they’re needed most.
Help evaluate and allocate community grant funding
Participate in monthly (or quarterly) board meetings
Offer strategic input on goals, planning, and community partnerships
Serve as an ambassador for UWERV and the community we serve
Support fundraising efforts through outreach, connections, or contributions
Champion transparency, accountability, and equity in all areas of the organization
Build relationships across Eagle County to better understand local needs
We welcome a wide range of perspectives and professional backgrounds—especially individuals who are:
Experienced in law, marketing, philanthropy, finance, business, government, nonprofit leadership, and emerging community voices.
Reflective of the rich diversity of Eagle County, including members of the Hispanic community in the Eagle River and Roaring Fork Valleys.
Passionate about community development and social impact.
Committed to collaborative leadership and teamwork.
Willing to dedicate time and expertise to support UWERV's goals.
